Information
Philosophy 200 satisfies the critical thinking requirement for transfer to the CSU and UC systems. While this is an online course, several sections are taught on campus each semester by excellent instructors.
Since this is an online course, there are two considerations to keep in mind. First, if you do not have reliable, regular internet access, you should not take this course. Second, this course will require that students be self-directed and motivated. If you have trouble meeting self-imposed deadlines and working independently, you should consider enrolling in one of the on-campus sections of this course instead.

The Textbook
We will be using the following book:
Larry Wright, Critical Thinking: An Introduction to Analytical Reading and Reasoning (Oxford University Press).
