A land of paradise and peace<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Tahiti\u00a0<\/strong>is one of the most remote, exotic and friendliest island I have traveled. \u00a0\"\"Tahiti is \u00a0the highest and largest island in French Polynesia among many islands called the Society Islands. \u00a0Although the temperatures are balmy year-round,\u00a0<\/span>Tahiti’s winter season enjoys less humidity. \u00a0Tahiti has a long and rich history. The islands were first settled by migrating Polynesians as early as 500BC. They were later discovered by European explorers during the 16th century and eventually colonized by France. Now officially known as French Polynesia, Tahiti is an autonomous overseas country of the French Republic. \u00a0In April 1769, Captain James Cook made his first trip to Tahiti aboard the HMS Endeavor to watch the Transit of Venus. He later returned, visiting Moorea, Raiatea, Taha’a, Huahine, Bora Bora, Tupai and Maupiti, which he named the Society Islands. Papeete is the capital of Tahiti which is where my journey started. \u00a0From there I traveled to Moorea, Raiatea, Huahine, and then to Bora Bora on a cruise ship called the Renaissance.<\/h4>\n

The Renaissance at that time was one of the newest ship to be built especially for the cruise around Tahiti and the Society Islands. The star is a class 4 star ship that provide many exquisite amenities for the passengers which include 5 star rating for the food and services.<\/p><\/div>\n

When you come to Tahiti, you cannot miss the great shows they have on the Polynesian dances especially the Tahitian dances offered to visitors and especially to the travelers on the Renaissance cruise.<\/p>\n
