If you need a copy of MS Office, you are eligible for a free copy of it as a Palomar student.\u00a0 Just be sure to use your Palomar email address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Writing Centers (both at Palomar and Online)<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/english\/English_Department_Site\/Writing%20Center\/Pages\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Palomar College Writing Center<\/a> &#8212; The Writing Center is located on the first floor of the Humanities Building (in H-102), and you can make an appointment by calling them at 760-744-1150, ext. 2778.\u00a0 You can bring essays here from any class (not just English classes) and receive free help on them.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/owl.english.purdue.edu\/owl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) <\/a>&#8212; This website has a ton of free information to help you with all aspects of essay-writing, including information about MLA and APA format, writing thesis statements, and punctuation rules.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tamiu.edu\/uc\/writingcenter\/wchandouts.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Texas A&amp;M International University&#8217;s Writing Center<\/a> &#8212; This site has lots of useful information, especially relating to grammar.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/writingcenter.unc.edu\/handouts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Writing Center at the University of North Carolina (UNC)-Chapel Hill<\/a> &#8212; This link brings you to a page with quite a few\u00a0helpful handouts about all aspects of the writing process, including information about writer&#8217;s block and procrastination, revision, paragraph development, and more.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/writing.wisc.edu\/Handbook\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Wisconsin at Madison&#8217;s Writing Center<\/a> &#8212;
