I began crocheting years ago and have since moved on to yarn bombing. In 2013 I yarn bombed a chair and entered it into the San Diego County Fair and won a ribbon for 3rd place. My second project that summer was to yarn bomb the jacaranda tree in front of my house. Last year, 2014, I joined a group and we yarn bombed the Oceanside Public Library for their first Art Walk in August. People all over the world love ART IN PUBLIC PLACES and I feel that yarn bombing is one of the coolest and unexpected things you can do. Watch this little video about yarn bombing:
