San Marcos Art Council

I have been a member of the San Marcos Arts Council for about a year now.  We are a non-profit group of local North County San Diego people that want to promote and advance artistic activity in our community. This year we have supported a variety of local projects including murals in a community garden at Charity Wings, a local theatre production of Passage to Fear, a mural project, and a school project to help bring orchestral instruments and instruction to local primary school students.

We have been fund raising all summer with our Chickens on Parade fundraiser.
