ANTH 110<\/strong> \u2013 Introduction to Archaeology:\u00a0 Another name for this class might be “Lost Cities and Civilizations”.\u00a0 The course presents a basic history of archaeology and explores the methods behind the study of material culture. The remainder of the semester is given over to a survey of world prehistory from our hominid beginnings to the first state level societies.\u00a0 There is no prerequisites for this course.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0This class is offered both Fall (online) and Spring (lecture) semesters.<\/p>\n
