My journey in becoming an instructor did not follow the usual course. I was self-employed for over 25 years and owned and operated three businesses in that time.<\/p>\n

I had the opportunity to return to college to finish my degree in History at California State University at San Marcos (CSUSM), where I continued as a grad student and received my Master’s degree in Digital History.<\/p>\n

I then served a one year internship with the San Diego Imperial County Community College Association (SDICCCA), working with Professor Bill Jahnel, here at Palomar.\u00a0I was hired as an Adjunct Professor after the completion of that internship.<\/p>\n

I also teach classes at San Diego Miramar College.<\/p>\n

Personally, I love History, and very much enjoy teaching it!!\u00a0I am a single father with two daughters; one is a student here at Palomar.<\/p>\n
