Prior to this, she taught at CSU Fullerton, UC Irvine, and Irvine Valley College. Her academic interests include the History of the U.S.-Mexico Border, Women\u2019s History, and the History of California. Her research examines both the local history of women in San Diego and also the politics of gender and sexuality at the border in the early twentieth century. She teaches Palomar\u2019s U.S. History Survey Courses (101 &amp; 102), as well as a course in U.S. Women\u2019s History (130).
