Carey Carpenter&#8217;s human anatomy course at Palomar College.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Two hours lecture and seven hours lab are officially scheduled each week, although the amount of time spent in lecture or lab in any given week is dependent on the topics being covered and will be variable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Rather than separate lecture and lab periods that are precisely defined by time, consider the course to consist of two 4 1\/2 hour seamless sessions per week, all in the same room, with differing amounts of time spent on lecture and lab material for each session.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Students registering in the lecture will automatically be enrolled in the laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>There are no prerequisites for this course. However, you should\u00a0<strong><i>strongly consider not enrolling<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0if you haven&#8217;t taken high school AP Biology or any of these courses:\u00a0\u00a0BIOL 100, BIOL 101 and 101L, BIOL 102, BIOL 105, or BIOL 200, or equivalent.\u00a0This is a difficult course with a tremendous amount of information to be mastered.
